    Post: Leg Injury

I fell out of a trailer in Sept and reported the injury
which was my knee, hip and lower back.

I had surgery to my knee and told them I was having a lot
of pain in my hip and fall down when I walk. Also the use
of the crutches and the falling has messed up my shoulder
    and hand.

The problem is the company I work for (which is self
insured) told me if I wanted further treatment I had to
come to the state they are in which is 400 miles away from
my home and go to their Dr. I knew the Dr would say
nothing is wrong but went anyway. He did a MRI which
showed nothing and was on his way to release me even
though the Dr that did the surgery was not releasing since
    the hip is a problem.

I did get a lawyer and he was told that they would approve
the Dr in my home state to treat the other issues, then 2
weeks later they told my lawyer that my Dr would not treat
anything but my knee. When confronted the Dr said the
company never contacted him and he would treat me. So he
called the company and they denied treatment and he did
document that again they denied treatment and cannot
release me because the hip issue was hindering the
    recovery to my knee.

My lawyer said that all communication is now between the
lawyers. What does all this mean ?

I do know that MRIs are not as accurate as I thought and
my Dr does think there is a problem that can be resolved
on both the hip and shoulder (they never looked at the
shoulder) and I should not be left where I can not walk or
use my arm...I am so tired of falling down and the pain it
    causes.

I never dreamed a company would lie to a lawyer to keep
one from getting medical care and wondered where the lies
    leave me ?
