    In New York, it depends upon your doctor's opinion as to
    permanent percentage of functional loss according to 1996
    Medical Guidelines of the NYS WCB, and the carrier's doctor's
    opinion, then a compromise, or a fight wherein the Judge will
    choos one or the other. If his average weekly wage is $600
    or higher, 10% is worth about $12000, 20% about $24000, etc.,
    minus prior payments and/or credit for wages paid (with
    possible restoral of accruals used).
