Here is my story...i got injured at work in aug.last day of
work because they could not accomadate me with my work
restrictions so now i'm off work and getting w/c I have a
15 year old son that moved in with his dad 3 years ago
which is fine...except he went back on welfare with him in
jan of last year! the da office call me and said that i had
been let go by my employer? so i called and they said yes
well now they are coming after me for money...it's not that
i dont want to pay i have always taken care of my son that
is not the issue my issue is what happened to welfare
reform here in ca.? i thought after two years of welfare
you had to get a job! well he has been on welfare with are
son for a long time now...so i'm not sure if i need a
lawyer or not?? one for getting let go from my job and two
c/s issues also they will take money from state disabilty
as well.my concern is how will i pay my rent ,food just
living? beacuse like most of us we are all one pay check
from homelessness so i'm not sure what to do? open to some
help L.S.
