I was diagnosed three years ago with carpal tunnel in both
hands. While still employed and having gone through one
surgery, I was fired. Since then I have received a partial
disability payment. The claim is still open and I am not
working.

A few weeks ago, I found out that my ex employer sent a
request to the BWC on my behalf to settle the claim. I did
not know anything about this! Is this illlegal, or just
inappropriate? Just wondering why they would do this.
