Post: What is a "Status Conference"?

Settlement has been agreed upon, most has been paid. There is one disputed bill between my private insurance and WC. Would this go to trial if the settlement has already been agreed upon? The defense attorney is still making noise about the injury not being job related, but yet the claim has been totally paid out, including vocational rehab. I did intense physical labor for many, many years. The defense attorney is looking for anything, it is a continued torment. Does anyone know- would they try to dis credit this claim after all these years of paying it out? They don't deny a serious injury - both parties agree to that. But the defense attorney is trying to pin it on another cause? She has no case, but I think is just trying to harass me.
