Hi i was recently denied my workmans comp i disslocated my knee. The thing is when i was in fire camp (wildland firefighter)a few people were wrestling and i joined in our supervisor was there and witnessed the inury to my knee he came to me and told me to tell the boss that it had happenned the day before out on the hill and he didnt repot it that night it swelled up and i went to his tent while everyone was asleep showed him because he was the medic but he didnt want me to turn it in until morning and stick to telling them it happened on the hill workmans comp got the same story I had told my boss and then when they asked the supervisor that had seen it (they dont know he saw it still) and he had told them it had been reported to him the night it happened and that he saw us wrestling and told us to break it up. which never happened because he was there and was wrestling himself with a few guys. I dont know what to do they said they have other witnesses that saw me wrestling but i only said what i did because my supervisor told me to and now i have been denied. I also would like to ask since it happened in the sight of the supervisor and in fire camp arent they still responsible. they dont know that he saw anything yet. i just want to know if i come clean if it can help me out.
