Post: W/C covered knee total replacement

Posted by W Sue on 1/13/09

I injured my knee in 8/2007. I have been thru 2
suregeries and just went thru the 3rd for this injury
(total knee replacement). I expect to be off for 6-8
weeks more. W/C has covered all my surgeries and
exspenses. My question is that my husband thnks that I
should get a settlement ecuase now I am forever restricted
due to the injury and have a life long medical necessity
should complications arise or when i have to have another
total 10-12 years from now. Is this true? Will W/C offer
me a settlement for future medical needs or what? Should
I get an attorney? My jobs is secure (so the president
says) I have feeling though there may be rpoblems since
the have limited all contact with me since letting me go
on my partial work release prior to suregery.
