I'm from Texas. I missed a couple of months of car payments
at which point the car repo people were looking for me and
my car. At this point, as soon as I found out and realized
I had missed payments, I immediately sent checks by mail
totalling close to what I believed I owed on the car along
with letters asking the company to please inform me how
much my balance is, so that I can pay off the car. They
have cashed all of my checks yet they have not reponded to
my letters asking them to let me know what the balance is
so that I can pay them the balance in full. Can they just
take my money and ignore my request and still try to repo?

Any advice is appreciated.
