We have a small IT consulting firm that did some work for
a client a while back. We contracted $5,000 worth of
work, which we completed, but were never paid for. We
also completed an additional $5,000 of work through a
verbal contract which we were never paid for. Is it worth
it to sue? Which court should we do it in (civil, small
claims)? We don't have a company lawyer. If we did
decide to persue it, should we get one, or try it
ourselves?
