Re: no Miranda rights read

I just want to know if the miranda rights have to be read when the police give you an indictment and you are taken to the sheriff station and booked? Or when you talk to an officer on the phone and he talks to you about a case and that phone converstation is used against you for evidence does he have to read your rights to you? Please help and soon.
