Post: Deceptive Hiring Practrices

I was enticed to this company 8 months ago with hugely overstated income expectations. The manager used as an example, the top salesperson who made $6000 the lst 2 months of the year, but neglected to share, and none of were distrustful to ask if the figues would be the same for the rest of the year. We all were led on with no exceptions. The actual income is somewhere beween $1200 and $3000 a month for the majority of the year. Mgr. has done that with all 9 employees, and several are experiencing dire financial hardships as a result of accepting this postion. I personally left a secure position because they assured me I'd make much more than I was making. They stated they had plenty of business to support our effots. Is there any recourse, so they can be made to stop exaggerating the earnings potential and luring people away from viable postions? I am planning on leaving, as am most of the staff, but we are angry to have been misled and want to put a stop to this, so any future employee doesn't fall into this trap. We are basically building their business and practically working for nothing.
