Post: 50.5 cents per mile? Mileage rate in California.

Posted by Kristine on 6/13/08

I am an employee in California who works for a private non-
profit agency that was mandated to be founded and
contracted by the state (Department of Developmental
Services). We are funded through both the state and
federal government. Is it California Law that we MUST
receive the full 50.5 cents per mile for mileage as set by
the IRS as the standard reimbursement rate? I have been
told that it is state law that we have to be paid that
    particular rate. True?
