I was hired at this company 5 years ago as a financial
analyst and they recently changed the titles/job
descriptions so that our dept is no longer a finance dept
but has a completely different focus. It's 180 degrees
from what we were hired to do and we just got an email
from our boss that said "here are our new titles and
responsibilities" out of the blue one day. I have a
finance degree/8 yr background in auditing and i have no
desire to be forced to do anything other than what i was
hired to do. Is it legal for them to just change a title
and job description with no warning.
