    Not under common law but Louisiana law is still based on the
    French civil law. Hard to tell what the law says in
    Louisiana but I doubt that you are being falsely imprisoned.

    The common law elements for false imprisonment are;

    1. Intent to confine another person against their will.

    2. Some act to accomplish the imprisonment.

    3. The intent and act must result in confinement

    4. There must not be a reasonable means of escape.

    5. You must be aware of the confinement.

    6. The person does not have legal authority to confine you.

    Your duty to report your movements does not fit the elements
    of confinement without means of escape. You could go
    anywhere you want. You might lose your job but I don't think
    that would be confinement or an unlawful act by your employer.

    Also, clearly no false arrest. You are not under arrest.
    You are free to move about, allbeit with the consequence of
    losing your job for breaking employment rules.

    You need a civil law attorney that knows Louisiana law.
