    "Esq." is short for esquire meaning attorney. Bob Jones,
    Esq. or Bob Jones, Attorney at law. No difference.

    As to the attorney’s refusal to quote you a likely
    settlement/verdict range - He cant. Otherwise, he will
    violate rules of ethics and subject himself to discipline.
    There are no crystal balls in the practice field.
