Post: Do I need to change attorneys?

    Posted by T2 on 9/28/03

I have had an ongoing w/c case for three years now. I have
had the same attorney for two of these years. I am in Ky.
and my attorney is in Cali. I have very little contact
with them , and when contact is made I have to bug them
and bug them. I mostly talk to the secretary. I have had
two A.M.E visits, and on both occasions the A.M.E has had
little or no information on me . This last visit he had a
single page with one paragraph of notes from my treating
physician. Mt attorney states that it is not his
responsability to insure records and films be sent to the
A.M.E. When I do talk to the attorney I get this feeling
that he is doing a yes job.. and saying what I want to
hear, and then off the phone I go.I have had little to no
contact by postal service as well.(except for the retainer
fees ..lol)In the meantime my health is deteriating,, and
my treating physicians keep doing what they want to do....
and I keep playing these games...has anyone else been
    through this kinda hassels?
