A local attorney died over a year ago. The attorney who was
appointed to deal with the files gave them to me to sort
out and make sense of. I did that. Now what should be done
with them?
Does it violate any laws that I read the files? Can I
personally contact some of the clients to come and get
their files?
What becomes of dead lawyers files?
