My wife has issues and is only allow to visit our three
boys once a month with no overnight visits. I got the Judge
to supoena her records from two mental institutions she was
in. Now my lawyer is saying that I need to also sign a
release so that my ex-wife can freely obtain any medical
and psychological records I might have. Do I have to sign
the release even though my ex-wife never requested the
Judge to subpoena my records released? My lawyer said if I
don't sign, than they will take me to court which will then
just cost me an extra $800 to $1,600 in lawyer fees. What
should I do?
