Hi, I am from Mexico and I obtained my H1B visa. My
company was going to sponsor the green card process. Due to
this bad economy they told me that I would have to wait
because shortage in the budget, etc etc. I understand the
process is long, I'd like to know if it is possible to
start this process by myself, or because the company is
sponsoring the whole thing I should wait for them to
respond. One more thing is, approximately how long would it
take?
