Posted this on the chat board and then thought to post here

A quick question..

Had hystorectomy in Jan of 09 and a CT scan was done of
abdomen at that time... Got sick recently and was
hospitalized and a new CT scan was done of abdomen. Was
found to have large mass in kidney and its cancer...
Questioned why this was not mentioned in Jan on previous
CT scan(done at another hospital) and was told it had to
be there then based on the size of mass.. Got copies of
Jan CT scan and YES kidney mass was visable in Jan
(confirmed this with kidney dr). Now need to have kidney
removed asap to prevent cancer from spreading.

Question: Should I follow up with an attorney as to why
this was not reported on first CT scan? Do I have a case
worth following on? Either way I am loosing my kidney now
and just want to know where I would stand. Any money would
help me with my medical bills at least.
