Re: Optometrist's Clerk Sexually Harrassed Me via Phone-Laws

If you ARE single, straight, and looking ... MAYBE you should be flattered. If you're not interested, just tell him, "sorry, I'm flattered, but not interested". When I was about 25 I slipped a note in with my deposit to the drive-in bank teller saying that if she was single and wanted to, would she like to have lunch some time. She smiled and replied that she didn't think her husband would appreciate it. How else DO you think a single person could tell another one that they'd like to meet out in the real world sometime? I don't think you should be offended. HOWEVER, since you were offended, you should write a short note to the Doctor of Optometry, marking the envelope "personal" and tell him/her what happened, and asking the doctor to talk to the receptionist about it.
