I am very sorry to hear about your problems as I do have the
same problem that you are having right now. My husband and I
rented an apartment that, after 1/2 yr later, had a water
heater leakage (all over my bedroom wall). My husband got sick
and the symptoms are very similar to what your husband had.
Although my husband is 30 years old, he tells me all the time
he feels like a broken old man. No body and I mean no damn
doctor could figure out what is wrong with him. All those damn
money-sucking doctors just wants your money and no go to the
exteme to heal you. It has been over a year that I have
vacated that apartment. My husband's symptoms are still
there. He feels shortness of breath, heart skips, nausea, and
other symptoms that you mentioned. At the time, the property
manager from my apartment wouldn't let me move out. Anyways,
mold has different affects on people. I don't seem to be
affected, but my husband is totally weakened in the immune
system now and it won't go away. I am very desperate seeking
a good attorney. I have a family attorney right now who is too
nice. Not aggressive enough and I am running out of time. No
doctor is willing to connect my husband's symptoms to what he
if feeling right now. Yesterday my husband went to this doctor
in UCLA Medical center who is supposed to be the Mold
Specialist doctor. A normal visit is $350, but because this
can be a legal matter, he charged me $1500 cash because he
doesn't accept insurance. I thought that if he could determine
what is wrong with my husband, it'll be worth the money. And
that because he charge this much money, maybe he's good. Oh
what a big disappointment. I should of just given the money to
a homeless. My husband went there and was tested. Later he
said my husband might have asthma. Then later he said he knows
what my husband have now. And that is Gastro Esophogus
something GERD. That it had nothing to do with mold. Peter
asked him if he's gonna prescribe something. THe damn money-
faced doctor said, what you have is very easily heal but I'm
not gonna do that now. The agreement with your attorney was to
determine if you had a case, and that's what I'm just gonna
do. Come back next time and I'll heal you. Peter drove over an
hour to his office for nothing and loss of $1500. I am
saddened because back to the drawing board. I don't have any
hope again. I wish you best of luck.
