Dear Ms. Kujanson, I am a court reporter who has prepare minutes for the City of West Miami, Florida, for the last 15 years. I can tell you, although your idea is wonderful, it may not be the best solution for your situation. With the recent advances in digital technology, it would be far better to digitally record your meeting and then go on-line to have the minutes produced. I would be willing to help you set up your system if you think you might want to investigate this solution. My approach is to start simple, then move to address any issues that may come up. For example, take a small digital tape recorder, or a small video camcorder, to your next meeting and set it up. Upload the file to me and we can see what we have and where we need to go to get the job done. I will charge $3.50 per page to prepare minutes for this situation. ex animo davidfarrar On 1/22/07, Jude Kujanson wrote: > Summit House is a non-profit residential facility serving > as an alternative to prison for non-violent female > offenders with young children.
