Since you already have 8 years experience and something of a client base, how much freedom would you have to continue handling cases on your own, and how frequently would you be taking orders from partners? Will you have enough time to bring in cases of your own to generate your own fees, when the partners expect you to do enough work form them - and make enough money for them - to justify your salary? Are their other associates there? See if you can talk to them. Why people on this board are being so hostile to you I don't understand. People, if you've got nothing constructive to say, just ignore the post! Jeez!
