Michael,
I would suggest setting up a "virtual" law office via
www.gosoloesq.com. They have negotiated discounts with the
nations largest virtual office provider to help solo
attorneys get started. You can work from home and use the
office services to provide a professional address, call
answering, and access to meeting rooms by the hour for
client interaction. They provide $1,100 in meeting room
vouchers just for signing up.
They also have a solo network of attorneys that allow lawyer
to lawyer case referral (fee sharing), mentor/mentoring
programs, and contract work between members. They are just
getting started but worth taking a look at.
