heres my question :

I am still under doctors care (and will be for a long time
yet) from an accident caused by a neglegent driver. If an
asset search on the guilty party is completed and it is
found that they have nothing, what other options under
Maryland Law are there to obtain things such as lost wages,
P&S, property loss (vehicle totaled) punitive damages,
Medical bills ( I am on medicare and they have been paying
thier portion - who reimburses them?) etc... My current
lawyer wants me to settle early. I assume that they have
only themselves in mind.... I would greatly appreciate it
if anyone could respond to this question....
