Please advise:

I am being sued for defamation of character. Two years
ago during a custody battle, granddaughter stated that dad
was hurting in a bad way. Dad is now suing for defamation
of character because I pursued this through CPS/DSS.
Allegations were unsubstatiated, but have statement from
DSS personnel that child stated same.

What kind of lawyer do I need and can I counter sue? Need
to make contact with attorney's in my area. This is a
very involved situation stemming from a custody battle.

Please help me.
