To the OP, whether your "case" has merrit is beside the point unless
you can figure out a way to fund it. No attorney would take your
case for a contingency fee unless there a recovery possible. And it
looks like there isn't. So funding it becomes your problem.

If you want it to stop, if you want justice, etc., etc., then you
get pay by the hour. That means coughing up $4 or $5K into a trust
account. You pay out by the hour and replinish it. If you are
unwilling to do that, then the $$$$ concern you also.
