30 & 29 years age had 2 accidents not w/c. broke left leg twice & right leg.worked shipyards/refineries/no Injuries. 13 years ago Hired w/city as gasman. 30+ calls a day 4 bend/kneel/lift/climb/ect per call. Leg getting weaker each day until one slip/twist finally gave way & was W/C Related injury. 90 days light duty. when they said my leg was "the way it was" they discharged me....of course for another reason.Doctor 1 said "you're back to the way you were" with permanent/stationary status & able to do "sit down" only work. Doc 2 QME said re-Aggravated & need a full knee replacement.Doc 3 AME agrees w/doc 2, Doc 4 agrees & Is recommending I go to Doc 5 Specialist. All this time No W/C Money. Had to retire just to get $1050.00 a Month.Injured 3/09. Discharged 6/09. No money since 6/09, Yet I have a letter stating my left hip & left knee have been accepted. When employed was @ $25.00 Hour. Did get a lawyer but only talked to him twice...Yet he signed me up in 20min once he found out it was a City Job / Injury. RSVP
