I went through exact problem, workmans comp wouldn't send ck on time, kept me in financial distress, laywer said by the time he filed with court, my ck would get ther, so they got away with it. I think it was a tactic to make me desperate to settle once they said Dr couldn't do anything else, and I was disabled permanantly. now on social security for 5 years, $800 a month, new Dr said first Dr did something wrong and he can't repair the damage. I'm 40, can't work, my boyfriend is leaving me. I want to see if I can re open my case with this new info, thats why I came on here, but can't find out if I can, and was blown away with all the people who got screwed like me, treated like a lier, made desperate like me to settle. I ended up with 6 months income by my calculations. no one told me to apply for section 8 housing to be on list for 7 years, or I'd be at the top by now. no one told me to apply for social security right away, so I went without income for 3 months. never thought they couldn't fix my back. as I type, I'm in severe pain just to sit here, will be homeless, this is our country!
