You can also request another workmans comp doctor if you feel
that the one you have is only doing more damage to your knee.
I happen to also have a left knee injury from a work injury, I
was put on permanent disability by the 3rd doctor I was seen
through workmans comp. They other two had no idea what the
heck they were doing and referred me to another doctor, at
least the third doctor was honest and to the point, and stated
that I would either never get better or one day maybe I could
do some regular activities. Although now I have to sue because
the workmans comp refuses to pay anything for my disability.
Dont let them mess up your knee further and dont get an
attorney who doesnt care about you! And, as for 6,000 dollars
do you think thats what your injury is worth for the rest of
    your life?
    Hope this helps!
