    Re: The Bible versus porn

    Just an observation too!!!

If as you said, 'God "invented" sex and therefore anything we
can enjoy about sex is a gift from God, (short of kiddie porn,
beastality, rape'......... May we know the basis for the
exceptions i.e. your excluding kiddie porn, bestiality and rape.

Do you know that some jurisdictions do not deem bestiality
    illegal?

Is there a relation between sex violence and porn?

Do you believe that there is need to regulate the subtle but
definite enslavement of a good percentage of our adult
population through the unbridled circulation of porn?

Do you agree that porn is akin to prostitution in many ways than
    nudity?

Is it not stupid for us and our courts (and government) to
permit porn and then recommend ways for treating addicts. I mean
we could as well permit the use of drugs since there are
    institutions established for victims/addicts.

The bible is not comparable to porn, it is a book teaching us
how to live a better life and we believe (from experience) that
    it is spiritual.

However, in a world where people believe in magic but object to
the existence of the spiritual, it does not serve any purpose
contributing to this debate. To make sense one needs to fight
like the brethens fighting over the cartoon insulting a Prophet.
The bible says that we must not fight.

But let us all bear in mind that since 1973 over 40 million
babies have been aborted in the US alone. That is more than half
the number of people killed in World War 2.

Let us think for a second about the laws we preach.
