I am dealing with the same thing. I had a felony conviction
for drugs(1 time and stupid mistake)that was dropped to a
misdemeanor on completion of probation. Since I have remained
sober and crime free and am raising a family. I applied for a
handgun permit to purchase because I like to hunt and sport
shoot, but was denied. It was also added that I cant possess
guns in my state. If that is the case, were my rights really
even restored?? Makes no sense. i need to find out how they
can be FULLY restored also.
