My understanding, and I don't know WA law, is that you have to petition to have your rights restored. Problem is how restrictive the state is. Restoring your federal 2nd Amendment rights may be the way to go, depending on whether (and this is technical) WA's law is more restrictive than federal law. Its called "restoring your civil rights" because you don't just lose the right to keep and bear arms, you also lose the right to vote as a convicted felon. But after serving your sentence/probation, etc. you can petition to have your "civil rights" restored. That would include being able to vote and legally own a firearm. Sorry I could be more helpful.
