Post: Lawyer won't accept "You are terminated"

What are the 'rules' regarding filing your attorney? I hired one, paid her up front and 2 weeks later was still being put off by her assitant so I called and told another secretary that I wanted to call the whole thing off. She told me I needed to speak with the atty myself. I gave her my number, called back the next two days and the atty never returned my calls. Jump forward 2 weeks and I wrote the attorney a 2nd letter informing her I wanted my money back or I would call the bar. She suddenly decided I was a human and started returning calls, etc. However, she totally ignored my request for a refund and acts like she is still representing me! I did file a complaint with the bar. What are my chances of getting a refund?
