Hi, Thanks for your comment. Yes, the answer to this is in the
previous post. The judge thinks my brother should be making $50,000,
therefore he made child support on that figure. I didn't know that
could be done. But that is the answer. Also, a previous post
said, "Your child support?" It could be anyone's child support. It
all goes into the same pot. My brother pissed that judge off a long
time ago. Now the judge will not give him relief in any of his
filings. For example, my brother has the kids for the entire summer
but the judge denied his request to lower the child support for those
three months. I think that is corrupt, but guess it is normal in W.V.
When my niece was sixteen she came to live with her dad. My brother
filed for custody and child support. That judge kept postponing the
action by saying, "Come back next month." The next month the judge
would say, "Go into mediation and come back in six months." (This is a
fourteen year old divorce.) Actually, my brother shot himself in the
foot when he pissed the judge off fourteen years ago. I guess that
judge isn't necessarily corrupt as he is spiteful. I appreciate all
the comments and enlightenment into divorce and custody proceedings.

    P.S. What does "freiking" mean?
