Post: Advice for Starting Residential Real Estate Closing Practice

Posted by MWebb on 5/21/07
I am a new graduate in Alabama and need advice on starting a real estate closing practice. I don't have any law firm experience but do have some money in the bank to help me get started. These are my main questions. Is it possible to initially run a closing practice out of my home and try and do the actual closings remotely at banks, real estate offices, etc., or will it be to detrimental just starting out to attempt this. Also, how exactly do you go about getting on approved attorneys lists and how do you market this type of practice. Any information would be appreciated and since I'm just getting started with this nothing will be too basic for me.
