    The Microsoft situation had to do with misclassifying
    employees as independent contractors and thereby avoiding
    offering them participation in Microsoft's benefit plans.

    You DO have an employer, which is your "company of record,"
    which I presume is a staffing, contract, or employee leasing
    agency, through whom I expect you receive your paycheck,
    benefits, etc.

    If there's information you haven't provided, please post
    back but I'm not seeing any similarity to the Microsoft
    situation.
