First I am not a caseworker. I have seen both sides of dyfs.
i am a foster parent. i too have been falsley accused by
caseworkers and bio-parents upset with the system that took
their children. some parents deserved to have their children
taken but, not all of them placed in my home in the last
13yrs deserved to be taken. many caseworkers are too "green"
and have no idea what it is to raise children. not all
parents are horrible people that abuse drugs/alcohol and
beat their children. dyfs would like for the general public
to believe this though. because i speak for the children
dyfs does not like me much they prefer that foster parents
keep their mouth shut and accept all they say as the truth.
dyfs especially hates if you go to court and find out for
yourself what is going on in a case. i used to sit back and
believe what i was told until i caught a woker in a lie and
that is when dyfs retalitated against me. i know of one case
that dyfs had the children placed in foster homes before
they even came out to do their so called "investigation" all
based on false allegations by a person that was mad at the
parents. this is the truth. so you had better get your head
out of the sand and believe what some of these people are
blogging because it is the truth. dyfs workers are taught
how to lie and they can do it with a straight face.
caseworkers will make up all kinds of allegations. i have
closed my home after the last allegations were made and
caused my children to be afraid to come from school for fear
that a dyfs worker was going to be their to take them. dyfs
claims that you have to let them question your children.
first you do not have to let them into your home and second
you are allowed to have a third person present such as a
police officer or other individual to keep dyfs from asking
leading questions or making up lies. Let me just end with
one more thing for you to think about: dyfs workers are
morons each and every one of them. nothing has gotten better
in the division and instead of hiring snot nosed little kids
to do an adults' job they should have to have at least one
child that they are raising from birth to adult. then let
them cast the stones to ruin homes.
