I liked this response because basically the man first posting
wi saying "its not my body why should I support it."That is
the most dead beat dad thing I have ever heard.Just because the
relationship didn't work out doesn't mean you have to shuck
off the moral responsibility of shouldering some of the expense
of raising your innocent offspring.ANd thats what a child is
in the case of a marital breakup.The innocent bystander that
gets to feel the hurt and see and hear the misery.I hate divorce
been there done that.In fact i was the one who quit trying to
track down my sons dad.He would eithr quit a job or work for
cash rather than help support his son.He chose to live a
different life not us.We were the victims of selfishness
and I am proud to say that I have raised a very outstanding
youngman who has made ma a very proud parent>I also got the
benefit of his growing up,graduation,going into the military,
marriage and now soon the birth of his first child.I am glad
I didn't chose to shuck my responsibilities.
