...although my father was a Florida cracker who spent his entire adult
life trying to deny it. My grandfather was a sailor and part time
bootlegger and gunrunner, and my grandmother was a school teacher from
N'Wawlins who met this dropout sailor and took off on the back seat of
his Henderson motorcycle, never to return to teaching.

I am a yanqui and proud of it (I am also a professional hick) although I
must say that we as a people have not studied the social graces overmuch-
we are rude, and in too damn much of a hurry....which is probably why we
appreciate southern cordiality and politesse so much....it's such a
welcome change to hard ass mercantilism.

Anyway I looked all over the poetry section ghost stories and all but we
do not know your nom de plume there KL so please provide the means to
verify your claim to fame....
