    Post: Firing your attorney

    Posted by undermined on 10/28/01

I am invovled in a law suit with my former employer. My
attorney has been acting very strangely since meeting with
their attorneys. He has not scheduled depositions or
subpoened evidence and documents as nescessary. He seems
intent on accomadating the employer at every turn.

If I fire him will I be able to file a motion for
postponement of my scheduled deposition? Will I be able to
postpone other upcoming events till I aquire another
    attorney?
