Re: PREDNISONE CAUSING AVASCULAR NECROSIS. WHO IS RESPONSIBL

I couldn't agree more. I was diagnosed with MS in 1987, at
that time the ONLY treatment was 'mega' doses of prednisone.
I took 80mg a day for 8 months! I have AVN in my right
elbow, both knees, starting in my feet and I highly suspect
in my shoulders and left elbow. I have had no surgery but
have 5 scheduled! I don't know how I am going to afford any
of it. I am unemployed and unemployable. COBRA takes 3/4ths
of my unemployment check, which would stop if they knew I
was 'unable' to work. My shots for MS would cost over
$10,000 for a 3 month supply w/o COBRA. I am so screwed, no
one ever warned me that the drug I was taking to avoid
becoming disabled with MS has caused, in my opinion, a fate
worse than death. The pain is unbearable and this so-called
wonder drug that was to ward off disability has caused
    disability.
