An attorney representing an injured worker will most likely
collect 15-25% of one's settlement unless other arrangements have
been previously made! The percentage depends on the state the
claim is filed. The answer to your second question is "NO." An
injured worker cannot collect unemployment benefits due to the
fact that one must be "willing and able" to work at the time
benefits are dispersed. The insurance company can make the case
that you are "willing and able" to work, thus making you
    ineligible for WC benefits!!
