(this is about the retail industry)first, i was offered a
full-time postion in 2nd interview then i called back to
make sure i got the job. I then quit my other job
immediately because of it. i am not full-time & will never
be because of personal bias by management.
second, hiring & promotion of negligence i have never
missed a day worked when i was sick, but others who do not
are offered & given full-time. also, those others have
less experience in retail but they fraternize with the
management.
third, unrealistic expectations are asked that only a god
or several people could do. i was told "you are not
productive enough because 12 pallets should have been
nothing for grocery to do"
fourth, third shift workers are insulted and blamed for
everything that goes wrong or that is not accomplished
from sales to stock.
fifth, being threatened by managemnet to work past my
scheduled time or be coached then written up then fired.
this i have heard has made workerd drop out of school go
on academic probation or gpa suffered, etc.
sixth, they claim to have an open door policy & a ethics
policy. i have yet to see it work.
hopefully someone can help do i have a legal recourse or
should i just get another job (which i have been trying to
do)
