I had a Boston Scientific SCS implanted in September 2013. I have
had it reprogrammed several times. it does not get the pain where
it is supposed to. If I turn it up the stimulation hurts my feet.
It causes SEVERE muscle spasms up into my neck. My pain medicine
has had to be increased several times and 3 weeks ago my pain meds
were totally changed to a new pain med that gives me more relief.
The pain is so bad now it wakes me in the middle of the night !!!
I get Sciatica down both of my legs now and Numbness and tingling
started in my left Arm and hand about 8 months after the
stimulater was implanted. On February 12th of 2016 I will be
having the SCS removed by my NEW Neuro Surgeon in New Hampshire
!!! Should I ask him to save the stimulater so I can take it home
for possible class action suit?? As I have seen many people have
to have them removed for some of the same reasons I am having mine
removed. My pain management Doctor recommended and feels bad about
having 3 of his patients getting the implant and now they have to
have them removed due to increased pain since the Stimulater was
implanted and now have to have theirs taken out also !!!
