Re: having problems with Boston Scientific's spinal cord st

I also have a Boston Scientific Stimulator. The trial went great! But I had the permanent put in at the end of August(4 months ago).Since then I have had battery moved due to it flipping in my side, and an extreme burning in lead area that is positional,in other words anytime I stand for more than 10 minutes I feel like someone has stuck a hot poker to my upper back. The doctor who implanted the system took an xray and said it looked fine, but I went to another doctor and he said that the lead was nowhere near my spine, which was causing the burn. Now my remote will not hold a charge,I change the batteries every 2 days, sometimes one day,and Im not even using the system because it makes the burning worse, also I can't get the battery to fully charge, which means they will most likely put in a new one which they only warranty one remote and one battery...I am fearful to revise the system due to the fact that the last few months have been exhausting and more painful than before the implant.Whose to say that I wont have to have this all redone again in a few months. This experience has really made me feel hopeless.Something that is supposed to help us seems to hurt us worse.I have until Jan.11 to decide whether I want to revise it or have it removed..So I would appreciate any and all opinions and experiences.
