Good question. I'm reminded of an essay written by my favorite philosopher titled, "What
Can One Do?" (Ayn Rand, available in the anthology "Philosophy: Who Needs It?")

If an organization is already working to promote your politics and philosophy you could
support that organization and promote it to other people. If you're a good fiction writer
you could take your shot at trying to write a novel promoting a certain theme. Consider the
influence of a novel like Atlas Shrugged. You could write op-eds for your local newspaper.
You could also try to found your own political party or advocacy institute. The thought of
the later has crossed my mind and I do have an idea for a novel.
