I totally agree about networking your butt off - there is no
substitute, none, for building any kind of sustainable practice.
Well, maybe other than inheriting a bunch of clients from someone, but
you still need face time to keep them. That Chamber membership is
required (but if you can't afford it, go to meetings and mixers
anyway - they won't kick you out). And the Gay-Bi-Lesbian Alliance
(hey, the "Family" needs estate planning more than anybody!). And the
K of C or Lions or whatever. And so on.

However, I stand by my assessment of internet marketing 'services' as
a total waste of time and money. I don't include having one's own
website in that assessment of worthlessness.
