Driving without insurance is a gamble. And you are gambling with other
people's money. Driving without insurance should be punished in the
strongest possible manner. I am surprised at how lenient Texas law is. Our
state penalty for Driving without insurance is a one year suspension of your
driver's license and a $500 fine for the first offense and $1,000 for the
second offence with a possible lifetime suspension of your license. It is a
crime not a violation so it stays on your record forever.

DON'T DRIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE !!
